Good value for money ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I would buy more of these *by A***E on 11 July 2025* My old smoke alarms had 10-year batteries and had started to chirp recently, warning of low battery levels after around a decade of use. I looked around carefully and decided to buy these ones as replacements, helped by their recommendation as a ‘best buy’ in Which magazine. They were a doddle to fit, requiring only that a plastic base be srewed to the fitting surface, then the alarms are placed onto them. The fitting activates the alarm and that’s it – done. There’s a faint reg light on each and the test button sounds when pressed, so within a short time everything was sorted. Each alarm had a small sticker underneath which stated when the installed battery would need to be replaced. It was September 2035 on both which offers some reassurance to me. The instructions were clear, and the devices are well made with the appropriate screws and (basic) wall plugs supplied too.
