A beautiful yet slightly unusual christening gift idea for a newborn. Photo can not capture the full detail. Gift boxed. A lovely delicate keepsake. Other designs available. Measures approximately: 13cm tall x 13cm wide. Safety Warning 2 Review: Lovely for a christening gift - Very happy with the money box. It is a good quality and is quite heavy. There is room on the sail if you wish to have it engraved. Review: Ahoy there! - I was persuaded to buy this because my better half thought it would be a lovely Christening gift for a baby boy, and because of the other positive reviews on desertcart. I'm pleased to say that both she and the reviewers have been vindicated. This silver plated pirate ship is a lovely and surprisingly substantial ornamental gift. It is really quite heavy, and feels very solid, yet the sails and rigging give it a classy look of delicacy and fine detail. It comes packed with the mast and sail flat, but it takes a second to assemble and it really does look special. If you want something a little different from silver spoons and teddy bears, then this will not disappoint, and for the price I think it's a bargain. Delivery was very swift and the ship was well packaged -very little chance of damage. Highly recommended. AA ## Features - Warning:Not suitable for children under 14 years. AA ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ highly recommended *by M***S on 13 February 2010* Ordered this ship money box for my great nephew's christening present. Delivery was very speedy and the price was the most competative to any other supplier on the web. It's a fairly weighty item for it's size, so has some substance to it. The detailing is great, and it comes with a small seperate adhesive plate that can be easily engraved and stuck to the rear of the ship by the coin slot to individualise. As my great nephew's name is Ollie, I had it engraved with 'the Ollie roger'. The gift was very well received by my neice. Would recommend this item and supplier without a second thought. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/53536099-christening-gifts-silverplated-pirate-ship-money-box](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/53536099-christening-gifts-silverplated-pirate-ship-money-box) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-10-11*
