Review: Killing weeds with joy & ease. Strong smell. - This has been a hard weed year, so I decided to just try a stronger vinegar. Knowing it would kill what it touched, I was careful not to get within 2ft of wanted trees, shrubs, plants, & trees. Be careful with metal it’s a powerful cleaner. Straight it can clean a shower head in no time. Fountain outside have hard water crust? I use gloves, it sorta burned my skin. No damage though. First try was at a private home on acreage in the middle of an old cotton farm. There is the wind, which brings seeds from miles away. Weeds survive everything because of years of chemical use. I started with a gallon in a sprayer, to a gallon water. It worked well on sprouting babies, the less hardy, & it prevented any further weeds. Straight, just a gallon & a plan. I am hoping that the propane tanks are safer to attend to. I sprayed carefully underneath and the outside by 3ft. Even after rain I saw no new weeds. Came home and sprayed swaths of a weed with deep root, but breaks off to grow 16 more. Worse every year. It’s early summer & already filling in with nice Bermuda.

**Q: So don't dilute for weed killing? Will it kill the roots? Need to not have weeds growing in spaces between concrete pavers.**
A: I use vinegar in a old pull around clothes steamer, with hose cut of at the end and I’ve made attachments for each job.
Small weeds I steam directly, I have two types of attachments that I shove into ground by the weeds to kill the roots , the weed then dies. 
Move over cracks slowly or let sit in ground 10-20 seconds . Do 10 weeds differently for times and concentrations let sit 2 days then adjust as you go from there on.

**Q: Is this a concentrated aqueous solution of acetic acid?  Is there anything else in solution other than acetic acid?**
A: This product is 45% acetic acid and 55% distilled water. That's it.

**Q: How long**
A: It takes 53 minutes to eat 12 hot dogs and then hop 50 yards on one foot. That's how long.

**Q: Can it be diluted 1:9 to be used for cooking purposes (marinades, salad dressing)?**
A: Our 45% vinegar is not meant to be used for cooking purposes, even if diluted 1:8 (5%) which is the equivalent acidity of table vinegar.

I use this product for weed control. It works great and since I dilute it by at least half it goes a long way. Just be sure you research using this for weed control first as it is very acidic and will indiscriminately kill vegetation. It can change the soil chemistry.
