The graphic instructions at the back of the manual are among the best I've seen, and it only takes one tool (the supplied Allen wrench) to assemble. They even put the Loctite already on the screws for you! Once assembled I found the seat to be firm and supporting, and finally I've got a seat height where my feet are flat on the ground. This is a well thought out design for us larger folk and easy to assemble.

I finally found a decent office chair for us Big & Tall folks. It's built like a Sherman tank - tough and easy to work on. The graphic instructions at the back of the manual are among the best I've seen, and it only takes one tool (the supplied Allen wrench) to assemble. We really love this chair, it's comfy (tho I wouldn't hesitate to add another cushion to the seat) and spacious. We originally bought two for our office and we've bought two more. They hold up really well and we still have a lot of room in the chair - the chair isn't digging into our sides when we sit down.
