The filter thickness is 44mm, with the HEPA filter being 16mm and the activated carbon filter being 28mm. - 5.7 lb Carbon Filtration: The activated carbon pellets will reduce odors, gases, and VOCs, including formaldehyde. Only select the pelletized or granular adsorbent media filter. Avoid the impregnated-type thin activated carbon sheet filters, which are less effective.Absorb toxic gases, VOCs and Odors from pet, human body, cigarette, etc. Room Coverage: 3800 sq ft one times per hour, 760 sq ft five times per hour (CADR: 588 cfm) - Customized Filters: Choose the right filters for your home environment. The VOC filter is designed to remove formaldehyde, carbon monoxide, nitrogen dioxide, and other chemical pollutants. Activated carbon can also adsorb radon and other non-reactive or weakly reactive substances. This filter is ideal for new apartments, painted floors, composite wood products, automobile emissions, and unpleasant smells in your basement. - Maintenance Tip: Replace your filter every 6-8 months to keep your air fresh and clean. An old filter will lower your air purifier's efficiency. It is recommended to remove the filter cover and vacuum the pre-filter monthly to remove hair, fibers, and lint. This will extend the life of your filter and improve its filtration efficiency. Do not wash the filters. - Clean Household Odors: The pre-filter traps hair, pet dander, and dirt. The Ture HEPA 11 filter captures dust, pollen, smoke, bacteria, and PM particles. The activated carbon filter absorbs pet odor, body odor, cooking smells, and VOCs. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0BTGGVV36 | | Best Sellers Rank | #2,094,688 in Home & Kitchen ( See Top 100 in Home & Kitchen ) #8,197 in Air Purifier Filters | | Brand Name | Jafända | | Color | black | | Contaminant Filtration Capability | cigarette_smoke, dust, odors, pet_dander, pollen, volatile_organic_compounds_(vocs) | | Controller Type | Button Control | | Filter Type | Activated Carbon HEPA Filter | | Floor Area | 3800 square_feet | | Item Dimensions D x W x H | 3.85"D x 11.2"W x 21.7"H | | Item Weight | 2.42 kg | | Model Number | JF999-Filters | | Number of Packs | 2 | | Particle Retention Size | 0.1 micrometer | | Power Source | Corded Electric | | Software Update Supported to Date | unknown | | Unit Count | 2 Count | | Warranty Description | 2 Year Warranty | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Jafända - **Color:** black - **Item Weight:** 2.42 kg - **Power Source:** Corded Electric - **Product Dimensions:** 3.85"D x 11.2"W x 21.7"H ## Images ![Replacement Filter for JF999 Air Purifier, 2-Pack VOC Filters, with 5.7 lb Activated Carbon & Granular SP-Permanganate, Remove Formaldehyde,VOCs,Smoke - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/5191i4U43OL.jpg) ![Replacement Filter for JF999 Air Purifier, 2-Pack VOC Filters, with 5.7 lb Activated Carbon & Granular SP-Permanganate, Remove Formaldehyde,VOCs,Smoke - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51XZVtr21vL.jpg) ![Replacement Filter for JF999 Air Purifier, 2-Pack VOC Filters, with 5.7 lb Activated Carbon & Granular SP-Permanganate, Remove Formaldehyde,VOCs,Smoke - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51wBeAG4wFL.jpg) ![Replacement Filter for JF999 Air Purifier, 2-Pack VOC Filters, with 5.7 lb Activated Carbon & Granular SP-Permanganate, Remove Formaldehyde,VOCs,Smoke - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41yOZdfb0eL.jpg) ![Replacement Filter for JF999 Air Purifier, 2-Pack VOC Filters, with 5.7 lb Activated Carbon & Granular SP-Permanganate, Remove Formaldehyde,VOCs,Smoke - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51iOKUDO0AL.jpg) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/534099911-replacement-filter-for-jf999-air-purifier-2-pack-voc-filters](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/534099911-replacement-filter-for-jf999-air-purifier-2-pack-voc-filters) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-10-16*
