## Description

The Snugpak Special Forces Bivvi bag offers year-round protection from the elements with its completely waterproof construction. The Special Forces Bivvi Bag is equipped with a central half length zip and is wider at the chest than the original Bivvi bag. The Special Forces Bivvi bag is also ideal for use with the Softie Antarctica or the Special Forces system. You can wear the Bivvvik bag alone for emergencies, use it with a sleep system for wild camping, or with a sleeping bag and air mat for planned camping trips. The Special Forces Bivvi Bag is made of Paratex Dry fabric, a completely waterproof, durable, lightweight protective case designed to keep the elements out. Paratex Dry is also windproof, which traps the heat inside the bag to keep you warm and prevent cold air from entering the bag. Be careful not to completely seal the Special Forces Bivvi Bag because although it is breathable and wicks moisture out of the bag, enough air for breathing cannot pass through the fabric. Water vapour from the bag is chemically transferred to the outside of the bag due to the polyurethane coating to keep you warm and dry. The Special Forces Bivvi Bag comes with its own pack sack and packs together to a travel-friendly 6 x 4 inches; weighs only 12 ounces. The water-repellent property of this bag can be obtained by a cool dryer after washing and regular treatment with suitable water-repellent products. The Special Forces Bivvi Bag measures 90 inches long and 33 inches wide, so it fits over your sleeping bag as a protective outer shell. The Special Forces Bivvi bag ensures that you are equipped for emergency situations and stay dry and warm even in unexpected weather conditions.

Very useful item to keep your sleeping bag dry in your tent or under a tarp, I have a down sleeping bag which needs to stay dry and this bivvi bag does the job well. It also adds another layer of trapped air which helps to keep you warm. This is a high quality item, the fabric has a nice feel to it, the seams are taped and the zip feels like its good quality. It also packs up small and light. I've used it several times and I'm very happy with it.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ EXCELLENT BIVVI BAG

This is a lightweight packable and excellent bivi bag. In winter my sleeping bag lives the SF Bivvi ready to go. It adds another level of waterproofing and warmth. In the summer I have even used it on its own to keep the wind and rain out. I have no real complaints although the hood might be slightly larger to allow me to stow all my kit inside. I am ex Army and this is really so much lighter and better than the standard Army issued bivvi. Love it and a lifesaver.
