Ratcheting makes pruning a breeze. Blades are sharp and effortless to make the cut. If you have arthritis in the hands or a senior with lessening hand strength, this works well ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Company to deal with and the best pruners for the money *by on Reviewed in the United States February 23, 2025* To start, I apologize to the company for not leaving my review last year. I had some unexpected surgery that I had to deal with.I bought their original pruner from the company last April. There's a spring inside the handle that allows these cutters to work as stated. About 45 days after I bought them, that spring went missing and I have no idea what happened to it, as I didnt drop the cutters or anything like that and I dont abuse my tools.I like the tool (as well as the concept) and I needed to use them again. My mother bought me a similar pair from some company on QVC about 35 years ago. THAT pair is finally starting to show its age and break down. So I wanted another pair.Back to the story....So about 3 or 4 months after I saw that they broke, I contacted the company to explain what happened. All I wanted was that spring, and since it was well beyond the warranty, I expected to pay for it.Gerossi’s customer service was wonderful to speak with, and they offered to replace the (entire) pruners even though the Amazon 30-day warranty had expired. These Gerossi ratcheting pruners work just as well as the much more expensive pair of ratcheting pruners that I received a long time ago. These Gerossi pruners are very well built, and are every bit as comfortable and easy to use. After I received the replacement pair of pruners, I put them to work and they worked perfectly. Even with an arthritic right thumb, these ratchet pruning shears made cutting through 3/4” thick, dried-out branches painlessly easy. These pruners and the seller are both excellent. Over this last year or so, I've already recommend both to a friend and will do it again. And I won’t hesitate to make future purchases from this seller. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great tool for getting things done and no pain/aches later *by on Reviewed in the United States October 13, 2026* I love these pruning shears!! They have made trimming my trees and bushes so much easier, plus I noticed that my hands do not hurt after trimming a lot of trees. I was perfectly fine the next day with no aches or pain in my hands. I was able to get everything done in one day, 13 crepe myrtles and 11 magnolias, and the blade is still sharp. I would definitely recommend these shears to anyone. ## Frequently Bought Together - Ratchet Pruning Shears for Gardening Heavy Duty - Increases Cutting Power 3x - Perfect Ratchet Pruners for Weak Hands & Arthritis- 8” Anvil Garden Clippers - w/Extra Sharp Blade for Effortless Cutting - Fiskars Bypass Pruning Shears, 5/8-Inch Cut Capacity Garden Clippers, Gardening Scissors with Sharp, Rust Resistant Steel Blade - Premium Bypass Pruning Shears for your Garden - Heavy-Duty, Ultra Sharp Pruners w/Soft Cushion Grip Handle Made with Japanese Grade High Carbon Steel - Perfectly Cutting Through Anything in Your Yard --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/532173139-gerossi-ratchet-pruning-shears-heavy-duty-hand-pruners-for-gardening](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/532173139-gerossi-ratchet-pruning-shears-heavy-duty-hand-pruners-for-gardening) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-10-26*
