Review: Yeah works. - Yeah I just set it up and it works fine. Agree there could probably be better instructions but it won't hold you up for long and I guess there's always YouTube if you're that stuck. Sets the target temp for my office just fine on my a/c. Also does scheduler if you're that predictable but I'm not so I don't. Geo-fencing I'm not going to pay for but it seems to turn it off if you leave home. I see the point but no that's ok thanks. So that's it.

**Q: Is this compatible with a Glow worm Easicom 24 boiler?**
A: I have an older gloworm flexicom and it works fine.

**Q: Is it easy to replace a hive unit which is wired into the boiler for heat and hot water?**
A: I sent mine back as it stopped working after 13 months, bought a Wiser system. Easier to wire up and cheaper.

**Q: If the air conditioner has a additional heating function - is this accessible in tado?**
A: i have 4 of these and they do heating and cooling

**Q: Does this support vaillant ebus or not? i would like to buy a tado that supports boiler modulation.**
A: I don’t know the precise answer to this but I do know that the TADO controller has similar logic to optimise and improve efficiency. So for example, it some delays turning on the boiler until the heating demand reaches a certain level to prevent the boiler/pump constantly cycling on and off when you have multiple zones in your house. It also learns how quickly different zones/rooms heat so that it can optimise this. I would think you would have to turn this off on the boiler if you can, because I don’t think you can in the Tado system and running both could cause problems.  I suggest you post this question on the Tado forum.

Yeah I just set it up and it works fine. Agree there could probably be better instructions but it won't hold you up for long and I guess there's always YouTube if you're that stuck. Sets the target temp for my office just fine on my a/c. Also does scheduler if you're that predictable but I'm not so I don't. Geo-fencing I'm not going to pay for but it seems to turn it off if you leave home. I see the point but no that's ok thanks. So that's it.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Can't Add Homekit Automation

Seems to work seamlessly. Only downside is that you can't activate it with an automation in Apple Homekit. Such a shame as this option would make it perfect. For now we have to manually switch on and off which is not cost effective. Wifi connectivity good. Firmware updates take a long time, easy to use and silent
