I don’t believe they are designed to connect together. So check out the images listed on the product. I had a reverse thread connection for an extending hose, and one of these fitted it. Hope that helps. **Q: Will this be suitable to attach to my metal hose pipe which has a screw thread, as I can’t find anything that works with it.** A: I think so. The hosepipe should screw on to the tap connector, which then will click on to the garden tap! **Q: Can I connect it to inside tap?** A: you can use the female one to connect the three quarter male connection on the tap. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Joins expandable hose with brass fittings to tap *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 2 September 2026* Great. Worked to join expandable hose to tap after trying a few other types. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Extend without Leaks *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 16 September 2026* Quality fittings work well for extending no leaks ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Gets the job done *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 21 August 2024* Included in the box was both a make and female his connector which was perfect for my use case. As these extensors have a quick release feature it much easier to both attach and watch them. There has been some leakage from the female adapter when on the lowest of water pressures but doesn’t really affect the usage. The adapters are also made from plastic which won’t last as long as there metal counterparts. But overall this is great value for money --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/52967266-expandable-garden-hose-adapter-connector-for-tap-and-spray](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/52967266-expandable-garden-hose-adapter-connector-for-tap-and-spray) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-10-10*
