Just wondering if it would work. Thanks** A: No I have not added water... I have sprinkled it over dry food . I have also crushed their treats on dry food both were successful. (I found the treats worked better?) There is a soup that you can buy by applaws their food is 100% natural it's about £1 per soup & used on dry food. Or if you also feed wet food u could try putting some dried food with that to get them started :-) **Q: whats the difference between this and treats? and if there isnt any difference is this powder cheaper?** A: This is a powder. I use it to tempt my fussy dog to eat her food. She likes it. There is a cheaper alternative, Wainwright's tasty chicken treats. **Q: Could you advise how much should be used per bowl of biscuits or what is appropriate please?** A: Hi - I used to be very generous with our dog. You can think like a cappuccino dusting - but it’s only dehydrated chicken so it’s good for them and they love the taste - so I used to think much more snow covered mountain! Even being generous with it - it still lasts a really long time!!! **Q: Can you use this for puppies** A: Yes, definitely --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/52904157-thrive-protaste-100-chicken-freeze-dried-dog-food-topper-high](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/52904157-thrive-protaste-100-chicken-freeze-dried-dog-food-topper-high) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-10-15*
