It provides great coverage that isn't too heavy on the skin. We have made some amazing looks with this product and it works beautifully on darker skin tones as well. Just did a tester on my hand to make sure it was the right color for what I needed. 1 and 2 coats with and without primer. Primer I makes a difference with the smoothness of the application as far as it coming off I didn't notice a big difference. 1 or 2 coats really just created a thicker slightly darker coverage. I did have to scrub some to get it off but that's normal for body paint.
