**Q: Is this a synthetic 'pumice' or natural?**
A: It is synthetic.  I would not buy it ever again.  It does a lot of shedding and doesn't really remove the dead skin like my first one did.  I went through 3 others after that until I found one that does the job extremely well.  If you send me an email I can send you a picture of it because I can't remember whether I bought it from Dollar General, the Dollar Tree or Sally's.  My email is k_for_short@yahoo.com.  Hope this helps otherwise.

**Q: Does this work for exfoliating cuticles or too abrasive if used for feet/corns?**
A: Yes, this product can be used for cuticles, feet/corns.  The hotter the water, the gentler it becomes, so it can be used on delicate areas.

**Q: Hi, is this designed as a one time use item for hygienic purposes? Thank you!**
A: No it is not a 1-time use. You can sanitize any way you want. 

This is the best pumice product I have ever found. Very fine, compact grains. Really smoothes the skin. Try using it on the palms of your hands too. Really gets rid of dead skin & smoothes palms too.

**Q: Are these like the kind they use in the salons? If not whatnkind would you suggest?**
A: I haven't been to a salon to have this done, so I'm not sure. I didn't like this product -- it was very crumbly.

Although it gets used up pretty quickly (for me about a 30-60 days long), I would still say it does a better job overall compared to many others. I would buy a few of these at a time on my next purchase. These and most other (good quality) sponge based pumice do not last as long as a stone would. The stones don't do the job though. I use my hands all the time. Activities I'm involved in: Mountain Bike, Carpentry, Bouldering, Mountain Climbing, and CrossFit (Weightlifting biased with lots of pullups and rope climbs).
