A: So, I purchased this case for my daughter's Sony headphones.  It says 7 x 7 x 1 when folded up.  The headphones fit perfectly in there!!  I hope this helps you :-)  Have a great day!!!

A: Unfortunately, no. The Sony bluetooth noise-cancelling headphones fold in the wrong direction to work with this case, which is made for the classic Sony cans like 7506 and 7509. I found a replacement case for my WH-1000XM4 on that giant auction website everybody has heard of where you can buy used and new stuff. Still super annoyed that I left the original case tucked into the back of an airline seat...

**Q: With a pair of sony  mdr-7506 headphones, is there enough extra space to fit a trackball in the case?**
A: Depending on size of the trackball - there's a bit of depth there on the lid to possibly fit something in but it would be tight. The headphones fill the base.

This is a very nice hardshell case, the lining is a soft velvet material, it's perfectly sized to hold Sony MDR-7506 headphones with the attached cord and RCA jack. Don't know why others think it's too small, I folded my headphones as I always do, put them in the case and coiled the cord around the remaining space, they fit exactly with no room to shift around. Now I won't have to worry about the headphones getting dusty in between sessions or accidently being damaged - definitely worth getting!
