Came with cleaning kit, joint grease and thumb rest. Lower note key works easily. I have nothing to compare this with, and suspect it would not impress more experienced players, but for a beginner it is perfect. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Tenor recorder that's a pleasure to hear and play *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 17 October 2019* For a budget priced recorder this has a good sound. It is easy to finger and the keys at the base work well. Comes with greased joints for ease of putting together, a case, and an excellent fingering chart with both German and English/baroque fingering positions very clearly displayed on the chart. I'm very pleased with this recorder and have got used to it quickly. I enjoy playing it! ### ⭐⭐⭐ Couldn't manage finger position and returned *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 16 September 2025* Neither I (adult flautist with small hands) nor my husband who has large hands, could cover the holes. We had to contort our right shoulder a lot, even with adjusting the orientation of the 3 parts.I was really disappointed as I live the deeper sounds of the tenor recorder and bought it because, like the descant recorder, it is in C and I wanted to play it alongside my child to help him learn. Sadly we couldn't make it work and returned itThe return was handled very swiftly and easily though which was very helpful. ## Frequently Bought Together - Recorder Workshop 603TWG Tenor Recorder, Wood Grain - Abracadabra Recorder Book 1 (Pupil's Book): 23 graded songs and tunes - Aulos 205A Descant Recorder, Brown --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/52685779-603twg-tenor-recorder-wood-grain](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/52685779-603twg-tenor-recorder-wood-grain) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-10-19*
