The bowl I have does NOT have underside access. Is this seat ok to use? tks** A: Yes this seat is useable as the hinges are top fitting, so no underside access is required. However, whenfitting the hinge housing lugs into WC I would suggest you tighten considerably more than instructions call forotherwise when seat is fitted to housing lungs it will feel loose so, simply do more 360 degree rotations withlug fitting key. **Q: Is the roca giralda soft close replacment seat compatible with the roca dama original wc?** A: You have to have the toilet to fit the seat our original seat lasted 12years expensive but well worth the money **Q: Soft close toilet seat Roca 801468.00 4** A: Yes **Q: Are the hinges on this seat the new chrome on brass type or the old chrome on plastic type.** A: The original Giralda hinges are chrome on metal and it is an extremely good soft close hinge. I have recently purchased seat with hinges and they are probable the best I have seen albeit, quite large. ## Frequently Bought Together - Roca Giralda Replacement WC Toilet Seat with Soft Closing Hinges 801462004 - Roca Senso and Giralda Removable Easy Release Toilet Seat Hinges (Pair) AI002100R --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/52525675-roca-giralda-round-soft-close-toilet-seat-and-cover-white](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/52525675-roca-giralda-round-soft-close-toilet-seat-and-cover-white) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-11-04*
