Review: Love this brand - I bought this as I had already bought the 50mm and I wanted a similar lens for travel photography. I don't love it as much as the 50, but I think that is because i'm not used to working with a 35mm - this is my first one. However, its brilliant, especially for the price! The photo quality is excellent, great in lower light due to it's large aperture and creates a wonderful Bokeh! Review: Undervalued. - Took a little gamble with this lens. It's disappointing at F2 but stopped down to F4 images are looking sharp. The same build as the Nikon 1.8 50mm and same filter size. You can make this lens work if you know what you are doing. ## Features - The closest focusing distance is up to 0.25 meters, when taking close-up photos, it can capture the unique sense of wide-angle lens depth. F2 large aperture, virtual background, makes your photos more elegant. - Turn on Live View (LV) You can adjust the focus on high-angle or low-angle shooting situation or use the display in the extended area of view for a perfect focus. Gold-plated metal contacts effectively improve the signal conductivity and corrosion resistance. - The metal bayonet is made of high-precision chrome, perfectly matches the camera body and improves bayonet strength, wear and corrosion resistance for durable use. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B01M2Z6HFZ | | Best Sellers Rank | 173,026 in Electronics & Photo ( See Top 100 in Electronics & Photo ) 2,279 in Camera Lenses | | Brand | YONGNUO | | Brand Name | YONGNUO | | Camera Lens | 35mm | | Camera lens description | 35mm | | Compatible Camera Models | [Nikon FX, Nikon DX, Nikon F, Nikon 1] | | Compatible Devices | Camera | | Compatible Mountings | Nikon 1, Nikon DX, Nikon F, Nikon FX | | Compatible mountings | Nikon 1, Nikon DX, Nikon F, Nikon FX | | Country of Origin | China | | Customer Reviews | 4.2 out of 5 stars 89 Reviews | | Fixed Focal Length | 35 Millimetres | | Focal length description | 35 mm | | Focus Type | Manual Focus | | Item Weight | 322 g | | Lens Coating Description | Multicoated | | Lens Design | Prime | | Lens Mount | Nikon 1, Nikon F | | Lens Type | Wide Angle | | Lens type | Wide Angle | | Manufacturer | XCSOURCE | | Manufacturer Part Number | LF758 | | Maximum Aperture | 22 f | | Maximum Focal Length | 35 Millimeters | | Maximum focal length | 35 Millimeters | | Minimum Aperture | 22 | | Minimum Focal Length | 35 Millimeters | | Model Name | yn35mm | | Model Number | LF758 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Photo Filter Size | 58 Millimeters | | Unit Count | 1.0 count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** YONGNUO - **Camera lens description:** 35mm - **Compatible mountings:** Nikon 1, Nikon DX, Nikon F, Nikon FX - **Focal length description:** 35 mm - **Focus type:** Manual Focus - **Lens design:** Prime - **Lens type:** Wide Angle - **Lens-fixed focal length:** 35 Millimetres - **Maximum focal length:** 35 Millimeters - **Minimum focal length:** 35 Millimeters ## Images ![Yongnuo YN35mm F2N Lens 1:2 AF/MF Wide-Angle Fixed/Prime Auto Focus Lens for Nikon DSLR Cameras LF758 - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61LiMWSKaaL.jpg) ![Yongnuo YN35mm F2N Lens 1:2 AF/MF Wide-Angle Fixed/Prime Auto Focus Lens for Nikon DSLR Cameras LF758 - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61xwdMbl2fL.jpg) ![Yongnuo YN35mm F2N Lens 1:2 AF/MF Wide-Angle Fixed/Prime Auto Focus Lens for Nikon DSLR Cameras LF758 - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71A4ZlI40eL.jpg) ![Yongnuo YN35mm F2N Lens 1:2 AF/MF Wide-Angle Fixed/Prime Auto Focus Lens for Nikon DSLR Cameras LF758 - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/616bD5momEL.jpg) ![Yongnuo YN35mm F2N Lens 1:2 AF/MF Wide-Angle Fixed/Prime Auto Focus Lens for Nikon DSLR Cameras LF758 - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/616u5h0wkWL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Love this brand *by S***N on 12 December 2019* I bought this as I had already bought the 50mm and I wanted a similar lens for travel photography. I don't love it as much as the 50, but I think that is because i'm not used to working with a 35mm - this is my first one. However, its brilliant, especially for the price! The photo quality is excellent, great in lower light due to it's large aperture and creates a wonderful Bokeh! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Undervalued. *by R***R on 30 September 2019* Took a little gamble with this lens. It's disappointing at F2 but stopped down to F4 images are looking sharp. The same build as the Nikon 1.8 50mm and same filter size. You can make this lens work if you know what you are doing. ### ⭐ Very Disappointed *by M***E on 25 August 2021* I ordered this for the purpose of trying it out for astrophotography, I wasn’t expecting too much for what it cost but I did expect it to be as described i.e. NEW. The enclosed literature told me make sure to remove the protective film from back and front lenses, there was none to remove. The ridged surface at the front of the lens had defects to the black surfaces giving the appearance of being chipped. Had the image quality of my test shots been acceptable I would have probably ignored these issues but the couple of shots I took could not be described as sharp, in fact they were bordering on being out of focus. Needless to say that it is on its way back. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/52424912-yongnuo-yn35mm-f2n-lens-1-2-af-mf-wide-angle](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/52424912-yongnuo-yn35mm-f2n-lens-1-2-af-mf-wide-angle) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-10-02*
