Review: Tiny and works well - No issues with configuration or with use on PC or iOS. The software is good. It's had a lot of updates, especially to fix Mac bugs. You can customize everything, even by setting CC curves natively. It supports drum kit pedals. The software has a built-in MIDI monitor, including values and an animation which displays the state of your pedals. Documentation is quite good. Easy, clear, and above average experience overall. Solid metal build, yet tiny and weightless. This has completely changed the way I look at MIDI keyboards. Every single keyboard I have can be played with a mod pedal now, including my Clavinova upright and my mini keys. A match made in heaven on both counts. Very useful converter.
Review: About the only one of its kind. - Really great device for use with electro-harmonix standard expression pedal and Roland DP-10 half damper sustain pedal. Pedal Config Tool works great. I route the two pedals in Cubase DAW. Occasionally the tool gets confused on start up. I shut down and restart and it works fine. Would be nice if tool changed settings display when switching from one to the other pedal. It alway remembers the correct setings though.

## Features

- MPC-10 has 2 pedal connection interfaces, which can connect 2 different types of pedals. And the design of automatic pedal detection is adopted inside, which can automatically detect different types of pedals. MPC-10 is currently compatible with positive polarity expression pedals, reverse polarity expression pedals, sustain pedals, dual switch type pedals, FSR electronic Hi-hat
- MPC-10 has a MIDI output interface, which can be directly connected to musical instruments with a MIDI input interface. In order to maintain a portable design, MPC-10 uses a 3.5 audio port as MIDI output, which can be converted to a standard MIDI DIN interface using a 3.5-to-MIDI five-pin cable
- Connect to the Computer MPC-10 is equipped with USB MIDI function, which can be directly connected to computer, mobile phone and other terminal devices to realize MIDI control. Compatible with Windows, Mac, iOS, Android and other systems, no need to install drivers, plug and play
- MPC-10 can flexibly configure MIDI messages for each pedal through DOREMiDi's pedal setting software. According to performance requirements, users can configure different MIDI messages after pedaling, including MIDI channel, CC controller, PC controller, Note, and flipping effects when pedaling
- Taking into account the subsequent optimization issues, MPC-10 also designed a firmware upgrade function, which can provide personalized customization for different users

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Could this unit potentially be used to connect a simple 2-button TRS footswitch (such as a Hotone Ampero Switch) to a TC Electronic Plethora X5?**
A: Hello, MPC-10 supports connecting TRS double switch pedals (for example: Sleeve is connected to the common terminal, Tip is connected to pedal 1, and Ring is connected to pedal 2).
Note: When MPC-10 is connected to a switch pedal, the pedal needs to be in the open state before it can be recognized.

**Q: The TRS MIDI port appears to be a Type B ... is that correct?**
A: Hello, yes, the current TRS MIDI of MPC-10 is Type B, and the product has a conversion cable from TRS MIDI to MIDI DIN.

### ⭐ Beware. Warranty is WORTHLESS.
*by B***J on September 25, 2026*

Worked great. Until it didn’t. I configured it successfully and used it several times. While reconfiguring, I had issues calibrating an expression pedal. After trying some AI suggested troubleshooting, the unit bricked. Neither the Mac OS configuration app nor the firmware updated will connect. I emailed DOREmidi support and they responded within 24 hours - suggesting that I update the firmware. I told them that was impossible (for 2nd time) since it wouldn’t connect. No response. I emailed again. No response. Again. A 4th request for WARRANTY SERVICE. So far… no response. I still have a tiny brick.
