This cam gave my 5.3L a ton more power, a mean sounding rumble, and BETTER fuel economy, I was getting 14-15mpg and now I’m averaging anywhere from 17-19, couldn’t be happier! Review: CHOP CHOP - Everything has gone well so far. Bought a 6.2, used this cam as part of a DOD delete kit I pieced together. Then pulled my 5.3 and swapped the choppy 6.2 in it's place along with a HD 6.2 6l80 torque converter + new filter. Took a couple hours of tuning to get me to the dyno tuner, told him "I want to have a good time, but I haul stuff sometimes and its a daily." Now I have a 2012 4x4 Tahoe that puts 390 to the rear wheels. I pulled a 95 mustang on a full deck car trailer and had plenty of power to spare for "passing". I'm a happy customer. Almost feels like its not nearly 6k lbs. Overall: This cam is awesome. Buy good lifters, head bolts/gaskets. Get a tuner.
