**Q: What is the actual color and color number of this item?**
A: What I recently ordered and received was not the product I wanted. The one received is a canvas color -- light and matte -- despite the picture looking like the Clinique Touch Base Uplighting.  I am very unhappy to report that Clinique apparently has discontinued the Uplighting product, which was taupe with a little glimmer. I used it for years as eye shadow, even though it was marketed as a base.  It was the best. I guess I will not be purchasing from Clinique again.  However, if a light, matte base shadow is what you're looking for, the canvas color will probably work -- just not for me.
