Great feel, fit and finish out of the box. Nice leather sheath. Great value. This is my 7th BPS knife. Definite recommend.

A: They are two totally different models.

**Q: is the invasion going to halt production?**
A: Yes, according to their website.

**Q: Are there any plans to put the stainless version on Amazon, preferably with 8cr13mov or better stainless steel?**
A: I would hope not it won't be as sturdy with that steel

**Q: Are the scales treated?**
A: The wooden handles do not appear to be treated, I sometimes use my knives in food preparation and hesitate to add any kind of chemicals to the handles, but I do give them a good coat of mineral oil  when cleaning. This works very well for me.

Very clean and well made knife. I like that it’s rust resistant stainless steel and I’m surprised that the stainless actually throws explosive sparks from my ferro rod. I used to get carbon steel knifes thinking that they were the only ones that threw good sparks from ferro rods. But the carbon steel knives I own rust easily. The sheath is well made and has a tight fit. Scandi grind is very sharp.
