**Q: Can this be installed outside vent with rectangular duct?**

 This under cabinet range hood can be installed outside vent with rectangular duct. The 30 inch range hood can ventilate through the back rectangular outlet. But it need rectangular duct connector which we don't equip. We still recommend that you install outside vent with round duct.We hope this information helps.

A: Not sure I understand what you want to do. In our case, we removed the old 'over the range' microwave and installed the hood.
The hood is not intended to be installed WITH the microwave

Works as it should, good sleek design, Strong fan and a good light. Our other one really needed to be replaced. This is a great option for a people on a budget that need to replace their oven vent. It was also easy to install.
