Tip and edge has good retention so it can be used in bushcraft to good effect. Handle is a good textured grip for if your hands get wet,Sheath has a drain hole at the bottom which is a common problem with other brand's and has a very tight fit so you can count on it staying in there until you need it even through extra physical activities such as hiking and making camp. The only real thing I have a problem with is the velcro on the strap of the Sheath, it's not the best quality and has a tendency to undo itself when attached to a pack or belt though that's nothing a little paracord dosen't fix so it's a good idea to attach it firmly to prevent losing it in the woods.
