I ordered up a size because of reviews mentioning how narrow the arms in the dress are and even with the dress size up, I had to unpick some stitches so the blood could still circulate through her arms, the same for the waist line but not as bad. If your daughter has anything other than a totally flat stomach and stick arms, you'll find the dress fits those areas very snuggly. Even when ordering larger.
