Review: Works as described (updated - amazing customer service) - I have only recently connected the mic and have tested this throughout my meetings and self test. Overall, I am pleased with the microphone. I have asked everyone to see which sounds better, this new mic or my headphones. All but one said the microphone sounded better. I did some self recording to see how it performed; it sounded great when I am next to it. But testing at 1 and 2 meters away unfortunately doesn’t prevent the sound to be picked up, but is significantly softer. I am going to be testing this for longer sessions, but I have been happy. The two parts I would have liked better: the arm boon is loose on the bottom, making it more difficult to move the mic when not in use. The second, I think the lights look nice, but wish there is a way to turn them off or dim them. (UPDATE: heard from NJSJ, holding down the mute button does dim to a light blue. For me, it is now 4.5, but as we can’t do half star, I am hoping to 5 stars. Especially as NJSJ have an amazing customer service which is the most important). Overall, if you are looking for voice to be clearer in meetings or podcasts, and do not want to break the bank, this is an amazing introduction microphone. I would buy again in my scenario.

I bought this microphone as my old one (different brand completely) was getting complaints from the people I game with as it was too quiet. It fits really well in my set up and I couldn't be happier with it. I have been told that the sound is 100 times better and alot more clear. The mute button on top of the microphone is so handy and it's a feature I know I will be using it alot. It was so easy to set up as it was literally plug and play as there was no issues with downloading drivers etc. The brightness of the microphone isn't too bad but can be annoying when left idle and not used but you can just mute the mike with the button and the lights go off.
