I have written to Tampax to ask why they are not available in Europe/UK and was told that their Data/research basically tells them there is no market need. I cannot believe only US women have heavier periods?? Surely in later years most of us suffer from this and need something more. I have gone from having to change the Super version every1 hour to being able to go for 2-3 hours now, which make a big difference if you need to go somewhere obviously! The "pearl" element is means they expand sideways rather than lengthways , which stops as much leakage. Also the applicator is plastic ( not environmentally friendly but..) and means it inserts easily - much better than the paper ones.
