Lawnmax – Grass Seeds Fast Growing, Rapid Growth Economy Mix for Hard Wearing, Shady Grass, New Lawns and Patch Repair (1KG)

I was a tad sceptical about this grass seed given my past experiences with more expensive products. However, needing to extend the lawn by a few feet and to reseed some patches, I made my purchase (admittedly based on price).I am pleasantly surprised with quick germination and good growth after just a couple of weeks. After just over a month we have a green healthy new lawn and the patches have disappeared.I initially raked the seed in well and gave it a good watering every evening and early morning. After about 4 weeks I used some lawn feed and will apply it again in another 4-5 weeks or so.We have absolutely no complaints 😃😁

Bought these seeds as they had great reviews with pictures.I scarified, overseeded and added Jacks Magic Compost over that.I made sure the seeds were kept wet as we had a couple fon24 degree days in October, and now with a few days of rain have backed off a little.I’m really impressed with how quickly these germinated and will be staying on top of watering over the next 4/5 weeks whilst they establish roots.

Sowed this grass seed in two different ways. Sprinkled and watered in sparse areas but in areas where the dogs had peed and killed the grass I germinated the seed in peat free compost and then stamped it onto the cleared areas. Its excellent seed. Not one single weed and it has grown thick and established in 4 weeks. I have re-ordered so I have always got some for emergencies.

I used this to cover a lot of patches on my lawn. The bits that grew where really green and good coverage. Some of the seed never took. I covered all seed with top soil.

I would like a refund but how can I return seeds from the ground? Not happy, made a lawn dressing with top soil and sand prepared the area and after two weeks nothing at all. We had plenty of rain.

I have bought this before and have been delighted with it.
