I would start with ebay first. **Q: Do you have to push and hold to lower/raise or is it a single press operation? Does the screen accept a 12v trigger input?** A: Its a single push - up, down or stop. There is a fine adjustment for where it stops. The screen is mains operated and can be operated manually without the remote.Personally I've hooked up the remote to a RaspPi which is running OpenRemote2 to operate from a tablet. (Does all the IR well)CheersRich **Q: Is the wall control detachable? I want to tug the wire away through the ceiling, so need to make sure the wall control can be hidden away.** A: The wall control plugs in and out of it so you can unplug it and feed it through the ceiling. Mine is hidden behind a wall and the plug end is just fed through to it. Works fine. **Q: Do the manual pull down screens lock in position? So it will always pull down to the same length?** A: It can be stopped at any position. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent value for money *by L***C on 16 February 2012* Got this on sale, so even better value than normal. Watch small print for additional delivery charges, but even then worked out very economical.Couldn't quite grasp how big a 92" screen was, if anyone has doubts, it's enormous. Have projected an 86" image onto it, looks great. Hung it on a wall myself, would be an easy 2 person job, bit trickier on my own, but still quite manageable. Would recommend this if at all possible, does need a big wall. Can also be ceiling mounted, but you'd need to hit hooks into ceiling beams as it isn't a light piece of equipment.Can't complain about the motor noise (not whisper quiet, but far from loud, and as previous reviewers have also mentioned, completely silent when stopped, can't even see why this would be an issue really). Remote control makes positioning it a doddle (which is required much more than I thought I'd need to, who knew DVD's could vary so much!! Setting which are perfect for 1 film are rubbish for another), the remote is very responsive, making life much easier.Picture quality looks very good on it, my initial projector was a LED eBay model (took a chance, very happy), kids think they're at the movies. BTW, also made some extra effort and ceiling mounted the projector, well worth it for the neatness, however it might be a suggestion to position projector as centrally as possible first before hanging screen!!! But then, that's what I bought it for! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good screen but poor instructions *by C***S on 9 May 2012* I've rated this as 4 out of 5 because the screen is fundamentally good and is great value for money. However, when fitting it, there were a couple of minor issues with the instructions that you should be aware of if you are fitting one:- The description of the dials for adjusting the extension and retraction was the wrong way around, the dial described as changing the extension actually changed the retraction and vice-versa.- The remote control would not work at first. However, I noticed there were several different polarity makings in the battery case, so I tried turning the battery around to put it the "wrong" way, then it worked just fine.To be fair to Allcam they were quick to respond to my emails, and at the end of the day I have a fully working screen. Would I buy another one ? Yes, but I wish the instructions were a little better. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Service, Great Product. *by T***D on 8 October 2012* First and foremost excellent service by eHome, ordered in the evening, dispatched next day, arrived day after, could not have expected better.
