They are lightweight, unbreakable, and take up much less room in the cabinets and the dishwasher than ceramic plates. They are acceptable looking especially in today's world where the plain white plate has become the "modern" tabletop standard. Switching to Corelle plates was a great decision. They are lightweight, unbreakable, and take up much less room in the cabinets and the dishwasher than ceramic plates. They are acceptable looking especially in today's world where the plain white plate has become the "modern" tabletop standard.
