I have use nylon cord in the past but it’s very time consuming, these will speed up the securing process. They have a positive ratchet which is easy to use and the straps are well made. They can apply quite a bit of force via the ratchet - take care when fixing softer items like soft woods. They even come with a storage bag which keeps them tidy and makes it easy to store. I do a little bit of woodworking and I can use these straps to hold things together while the glue sets, instead of the heavy metal clamps. Excellent clamps and good value for money.

Bought these to secure items to roof bars and have found them to be very useful. They are strong and secure, and a good length. The ratchet mechanism is easy to use. Overall a quality set of adjustable straps.

I purchased these ratchet straps mainly for holding items on my roof bars. I have use nylon cord in the past but it’s very time consuming, these will speed up the securing process. They have a positive ratchet which is easy to use and the straps are well made. They can apply quite a bit of force via the ratchet - take care when fixing softer items like soft woods.
