I’ve bought all sorts of spades and bits before so I figured, “How expensive could they possibly be!”. Wake up call - VERY EXPENSIVE. The hole saw’s, even the tiny ¼ inch ones were ten bucks, forget about the ¾ inch ones. I settled on some junky carbide arrow points and painstankilly drilled multiple holes to form one big jagged one. Half the bits broke along the way and it just wasn't very pleasant. This time around I planned ahead and looked for cheap bit with good reviews. That's why I’m here, LOVE THESE THINGS! Since filming the video, I’ve used these several times over. Not only are they super fast at cutting compared to my old method, they’re tough(er) than nails! Plan ahead, spend the dough, and never look back. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Used for cutting a hole in Mason jars *by I***S on Reviewed in the United States on January 9, 2019* Bought these as a tool to finish old canning jars into potpourri jars with a small string of Christmas lights. I only needed one size (1/2"), but even for the low price it came with a whole assortment. I drilled though the canning jars on the lower side about 3/4" from the bottom edge. Out of about a dozen jars drilled, I never cracked or ruined any. The diamond drill bits worked great and seemed to hold their edge just fine. I did use a traditional hole saw to make a thin plywood template to hold the bit where I wanted on the jar and I drilled with the jar hole in water to reduce heat and prolong bit life. Youtube has some clips that offer hints if you are doing glass. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice bits. *by D***. on Reviewed in the United States on November 23, 2017* Nice bits... These aren't your top grade industrial use every day bits and to try and compare them to the $200 top of the line bit set is nuts. This bit set is for everyone else who doesn't use them on a daily basis. They work and they work well. I cut into concrete no problem and marble piece of cake. As usual be sure to use water to keep things going smooth while drilling and these bits cut through concrete like butter. I also cut a couple of grommets through granite tops and again, no problem.
