Review: Genius - We are huge fans of Uno and have all the variations of it such as Uno Dare for example. Uno Quattro is very clever but takes a lot of time. It’s not quite as simple as Connect 4 where you drop counters… instead you’re looking at numerous counters and seeing which of your tiles match by number of colour. It’s like playing lots of games of Uno all at the same time, so you have to think carefully. You don’t actually have to match a counter in your hand with what has been played already because unlike Connect 4 you don’t have to place a tile in the rack directly against another tile. If they match, then great but if not just play whatever you have but be careful that you’re not setting up the next player for a row of four colours/numbers or they win. You have actions too such as knocking tiles down and out of the column. And you can swap one column for another by removing the entire slide-able column and replacing it with another one. It’s very clever. We love it
