Review: If you have a problem, contact the seller directly (not desertcart) - I installed this initially--the instructions are somewhat confusing--the damper is already installed on the unit, so don't waste time trying to look for the piece to screw in like the instructions say--but the first time I installed it it was SO LOUD. Sounded like a garbage disposal, and the middle setting was the loudest for some reason. I reached out to desertcart and they wanted me to pack and ship it back to get a refund or exchange. That was too much work. So I contacted the seller directly through desertcart messages, and they immediately sent me a replacement unit! The new unit is SO quiet, even without all the mounting screws completely installed. Something was definitely wrong with the first one. So if you have a problem, please contact the seller, they have incredible customer service! I replaced an old 1980s hood with this, and it makes a HUGE difference in aesthetics and functionality. I am surprised something like this is so affordable. The LEDs are in the back, and they're a bit cool-toned, but I have other kitchen lighting so I don't mind. This is miles and away cheaper than any other comparable option, value is exceptional. Five stars!!!
Review: looks great... works better - Install was easy, is quiet and effective at removing smoke when for some unknown reason cooking food begins to smoke... odd, and looks great! The suction power is stupendous at removing cooking smells, way way better than that silly microwave mounted over the stove. The lights are bright.

## Features

- Strong Ventilation Performance: Designed for everyday cooking, this hood delivers strong 450 CFM suction while functioning as a reliable kitchen exhaust fan or stove hood vent. Three adjustable speeds help manage smoke and steam quickly.
- Quiet, Comfortable Cooking: With noise levels staying around 55 dB, this hood creates a more pleasant environment, ideal for open kitchens that need a quiet stove vent or kitchen hood vent. The mechanical push-button panel ensures simple, intuitive operation even with wet or greasy hands.
- Flexible Ducted or Ductless Installation: Designed to fit different home layouts, this model works as a wall mounted range hood with exterior venting or a ventless range hood when using carbon filters. Suitable for replacing older range hood 30 inch, vent hood, or kitchen exhaust hood systems.
- Durable Stainless Steel & Easy-Clean Filters: Crafted from 430 stainless steel with a brushed finish, this hood blends durability and style. The 5-layer aluminum mesh filter captures grease effectively and is fully dishwasher-safe—an ideal solution for homes relying on a kitchen extractor fan for cleaner cooking.
- Bright 4000K LED Lighting: Equipped with two energy-efficient LED lights, this hood brightens your stovetop with a clear, natural 4000K glow. Perfect for everyday meal prep, offering better visibility than standard lighting found in many kitchen vent hoods.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good purchase

Patience! And have a magnet. Trying to connect the little screws, to the wall mounts, is a bit of a battle. AND don't drop them! (Magnet!) Had to use self tapping screws, because the package ones wouldn't tighten enough to keep the top from sliding down. But I couldn't pass on it since it was a black Friday sale. Overall it's nice, runs good & looks nice in the kitchen.
