(Esp ferrets). Looking for feeding syringes.** A: I make up the Emeraid Carnivore by teaspoon measure. Take one level teaspoon and gradually add two teaspoon of water, mix to paste. I prefer a "wet" paste so you might have to add another one or two teaspoons of water. Most ferrets like the taste and will take from spoon in paste form or on finger. If you have a ferret with kidney problem or perhaps need to get more fluids into them then add a little more water or lactofree milk, a blob of their favourite oil, warm slightly to tepid and they usually take straight down. Repeat every couple of hours. I find that syringe can cause stress in the sick ferret so avoid unless really necessary. If the ferret is not taking any other food, perhaps double to two small teaspoons and appropriate fluids.
