Im finally about to enter the brushless world and feeling like i've never put together a scooter lol. ok. connect yellow wire to thicker red wire on the power connector from controller(which may have a red wire, black wire, and another thinner red wire.) Yellow (throttle) to thicker red wire (power connector from controller). *the thing that kept me from finally plugging stuff in* Red wire from BATTERY gets connected to to these two wires, as well (yellow from throttle AND THICKER red wire on power connector from controller) . Black from BATTERY goes to black (power connector from controller) Blue (throttle) goes to the THINNER red wire (power connector from controller) from videos ive watched about "key switch"/"lock throttle lcd" they STRESS THAT YOU NOT CONFUSE THESE CONNECTIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. I turned the key, confident the connections were right and the lcd displayed the voltage. I turned the throttle and the tires spun!! Tuned key off. Now onto the other 100 wires. Hoping to help someone **Q: What DC motor is cmopatiable with this?** A: The specifications on this throttle indicate it can be used with any 12-84V DC E-bike motor. By E-bike, it means electric bike, but it can be used to basically control "any DC motor in the voltage range specified". The display will automatically read the voltage and display it, also rated up to 84V DC, or slightly higher voltage not to exceed 100V DC. This throttle can be used with DC motors that are either Brushed (have carbon brushes) or Brushless, therefore, it can be coupled with any "brushed or brush-less DC controller. The trick is making sure that the connections (the wires) from the throttle are compatible with the controller wiring. For this you will need to select the controller accordingly with your motor voltage requirements and try to match the connectors that are typically supplied with the controller. No two manufactures are alike when dealing with Chinese products therefore the connectors will probably not match. Not to panic, the solution is just making sure the throttle 3 wires on the throttle match the 3 wire designated "throttle" or sometimes labeled as "Throttle hall sensor" or POT (potentiometer) on the controller. I simply remove the stock connectors that do not match and install my own 3 pin connectors, or wire direct (splice the same wires and heat shrink to protect them) , making sure the wires match Red to Red (5V DC) Black to Black (GND) and Blue to Blue or (SIGNAL). Very similar to how RC Servos 3 pin wiring is done. The key switch has 2 wires and it simply connects in similar fashion to the controller KEY or IGNITION connector or wiring. Again, check your controller wiring specifications and designations to be sure you know where to connect them correctly. Hope this helps **Q: Will this work on a nakto electric bike?** A: Don’t have one myself but wouldn’t see why not **Q: What is the screw size on the throttle to make it hold on the handle bar?** A: A metric Hex Head M5-.8 x 10mm screw. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐ A éviter ! *by C***E on 9 October 2022* matériel trop fragile ! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great product does exactly what I wanted *by D***S on 15 June 2022* took me a while to find out how to wire key switch I have linked picture how to wire to sw900 display ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I purchased the throttle and *by M***H on 2 June 2022* It was exactly what I was looking for this is not a on and off switch throttle you can actually control the speed depending on how much you pull the throttle it does show a very accurate voltage reading down to the decimal of whatever is left in the battery if you are looking for a plug and play and this is your exact wiring set up then that’s great if it’s not don’t blame the shipper as if you are getting into E bikes or scooters whatever the case maybe you were going to learn that there are a handful on top of hand for different type of throttles and different type of wires and I don’t think any company has the exact same colors as one company and vice versa and some throttles will have more wires than other throttles but here’s the good part just remember you don’t always have to use all the wires wink 😉 And sometimes it may not be the throttle that’s not working you might be giving someone a bad review because your brakes might not be working correctly so be careful of that if your throttle has a brake system on it and your motor controller shuts the motor down if your brakes are being polled if they are off just a little bit that throttle will not go anywhere because it doesn’t work it’s because your brakes are broke. I am not sponsored by these people or anything but I recently learned about all the stuff in the last eight months or so and I see the same comments over and over and these poor guys are out there getting bad reviews because someone says the throttle doesn’t work and I understand some of them may not work that’s just part of the world nothing is always perfect you’ll find a dud in the needle in the haystack at some point.
