NEXUS Backup Camera Lifter for VS30 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Van or conversions Such as Winnebago Revel

So we purchased one of these because we have the "always on" camera module from another manufacturer. The factory camera was always pointed too low and couldn't really serve well during daily driving or on the highway. This modification allows you to see further away so you can anticipate lane changes better etc. Super easy to install, remove 4 torx screws, unclip the camera harness then run the harness through the camera lifter on one side and secure it down with 4 supplied screws.

I used these lifts with the OEM camera mod by MidCity Engineering. I can now see behind my sprinter using the OEM camera and the MBUX on demand and the perspective is must larger.

I installed the spacers as directed which is very simple. I noticed that’s the spacers top did not fit flush with the bottom of the camera housing by just setting the housing on top of the spacers. It was not a perfect fit like the housing on the van roof. It was suspect. I went ahead and finished the install knowing that if it didn’t pass the water spray test, I was returning them. Test failed.I reinstalled the housing without the spacers and did the water test. Test passed.Make sure to test the spacers with water otherwise you might be in for an unpleasant surprise.The spacer appeared to be fabricated on a 3D printer. Who ever is manufacturing these pieces, I suggest you do more research because if someone doesn’t test their install with water and assumes everything is okay, it will not and water damage will occur. Just a heads up.

Easy to install, fits well. Most useful if you have the camera changed to be on continuously. Changes unsafe rear visibility to safe, since the regular rear view mirror is pretty useless.
