**Q: Can this be used to hold/conserve turkish tursu/pickled things that need to wait for a few months?**
A: I use mine for fabric softener and washing machine liquid a d they hold well

A: I use this jar to make kombucha, and it works very well

A: No it can’t

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Original tap is poor quality but everything else is great

I ordered two of these 5L dispensing jars as we typically have guests over and these are great for cocktails or making fruit infused water. I ordered the stands separately - as it is so much easier to then dispense the drinks, otherwise you have to have the jar on the edge of the table or counter top, with the tap hanging over the edge to allow for dispensing but this is super dangerous with kids about! So the stands were a much better option. Now the issue with these jars is that the taps are plastic and just very bad quality. In the one pictured you’ll see the tap handle broke off after one evening using it!! So I found some really nifty metal taps which I’ve bought to replace these plastic ones. They’ll do a much better job and last so much longer! I also remove the airtight ring when using the jar otherwise the liquid doesn’t dispense due to airflow.
