Review: Fantastic and comfortable - I have been purchasing these trainers since speedcross 3 came out and they don't dissapoint. The fit as recommended and very comfortable. Good for all round use and good for off road/Cross running. The only slight down side to these is the grip on wet rocks, it's not the best however the grip is really good on grass, soil and gritty pathways. I will continue to keep purchasing these whilst they make them. Would definitely recommend

A: No, but your feet are gonna get wet if you're trail running.

**Q: Are the Speedcross 5 a wider fit than the 3 and 4, or just the same?**
A: Not the same gtx5 have a higher heal for more support and the tread pattern is a bit different, ie larger middle lugs and reversed lugs at rear of ball of foot for better downhill stability

**Q: Can someone please tell me the difference between these speedcross 5 hiking shoes and speedcross 5 gore tex men's trail running shoes or are they same**
A: Similar shoe but 1 is goretex waterproof and 1 isn't.

I have been purchasing these trainers since speedcross 3 came out and they don't dissapoint. The fit as recommended and very comfortable. Good for all round use and good for off road/Cross running. I've had 2 pair of speedcross 4 and like Solomon as a brand. The speedcross 5 feel lighter and the back of the trainer is much softer giving an overall better feel. I've done a couple of short runs and they feel great. Doing a long run this weekend, but I can see they being any issues. Great trainers, for a good price which last for ages. Boom!
