## Description

Product Description These binoculars zoom up to an incredible 160x magnification bringing far off objects into clear viewClick here to view largerSunagor 30-160x70 Mega Zoom BCF BinocularsSunagor Japan proudly presents their flagship model--the 30-160x70 Mega Zoom Binoculars. Sunagor, a brand synonymous with high magnification binoculars, have incorporated over 50 years of cutting-edge and market-leading innovation in zoom technology into this new model. These binoculars offer 160x maximum magnification, which could bring even the most distant object into view, giving an unrivalled long-distance viewing experience. The World’s Most Powerful Binoculars“Claimed to be the most powerful bins in the world, and we’re not going to quibble!” - The Times Newspaper, LondonThe Sunagor 30-160x70s are widely believed to be the world’s most powerful pair of binoculars. At their starting point of 30x magnification, they already offer an above-standard level of power found only on more specialist binoculars. The binoculars can then move from 30x up to a maximum of 160x magnification, putting them in a power class of their own and, in doing so, redefining the boundaries of modern zoom optics. With a choice of magnification anywhere from 30x to 160x, these Sunagor binoculars offer the user complete versatility over their viewing distance--one that is unrivalled in range by any other zoom binoculars on the market. Full zoom lever redesign to accommodate the unbelievable magnification rangeClick here to view largerSpecialist Zoom FunctionsIn order to accommodate a market-leading magnification range, special consideration was required in the design of the zoom functions on the Sunagor 30-160x70 binoculars. The first area of redesign was the zoom lever--the function that controls the amount of magnification. Sunagor have made the lever larger than normal and have designed it to be a little firmer when sliding it. The combination of these two new features make zooming the 30-160x70s a more precise and manageable experience. The second area of redesign is the positioning of the zoom lever.Specialist DesignDeveloped in Japan, the binoculars have a durable design with rubber armoured body to provide protection for the internal optics. The rubber armouring also gives the binoculars a great non- slip surface to grip, even when wearing gloves. With such a large magnification range, one could assume that the binoculars might be too heavy and large to handle, but with the Sunagor 30-160x70 binoculars this is not the case. Weighing in at a below average (for their class) 1.4kg and measuring 25cm in length, they are manageable by hand and easy to transport. Robust rubber armoured design with BCF one piece constructionClick here to view largerBCF ConstructionUnlike many binoculars, the Sunagor 30-160x70 are of BCF one-piece construction. This means that the barrels are not simply screwed on to the body but the entire product is produced using one mould. The end result means that the binoculars offer more precision and a higher degree of rigidity. This helps to avoid collimation (alignment) problems which can sometimes be associated with very high magnification binoculars. The binoculars incorporate collapsible rubber eyecups which allow spectacle wearers to enjoy a complete field of view. Located on each side of the binoculars, there are purpose built lugs which allow a neck strap (included) to be attached, thus helping a user to properly distribute the binocular’s weight. The other design feature is a centrally located tripod socket (located between the two barrels), Sunagor recommend using a tripod to stabilise the binoculars at higher magnifications. Large 70mm Japanese eco-glass lenses are treated with Sunagor premium coatingsClick here to view largerHigh Quality Japanese OpticsTo optimise the incredible magnification, Sunagor have put a good emphasis on the quality of the internal optics within their 30-160x70 binoculars which boast the following features:-Firstly, they incorporate generous 70mm objective lenses which help to maximise the amount of light entry, even at higher magnifications.Secondly, all optical components in the binoculars are manufactured from high quality Japanese eco-glass and all surfaces have been treated with specialist Sunagor coatings. Finally, the highest quality BAK-4 prisms have been used within the Porro design. All of these premium optical features combine to increase light transmission and reflectivity in order to produce clear and vivid images.Useful AccessoriesThe Sunagor 30-160x70 binoculars come with a set of useful accessories. A durable padded case is designed to protect the binoculars when not in use. A neck strap, constructed of durable nylon, is designed to firmly attach to the binoculars and help to distribute their weight during transport. Also included is a pair of objective lens covers, eyepiece protectors and a high quality tripod adapter, which allow the binoculars to be easily connected to any tripod.Wide Ranging UseThanks to their market-leading zoom capability, the Sunagor 30-160x70 Mega Zoom Binoculars can be put to a wide ranging number of, previously impossible, new activities as well as help to extend typically popular viewing pursuits. One of the most optimal ways to enjoy the incredible magnification is to observe subjects at a very long distance, therefore making these binoculars ideally suited to all types of astronomical use. Between 100x and 160x magnification, the binoculars can match the power of expensive telescopes, with the added benefit of two eyepieces to observe through as opposed to just one found on telescopes. Distant stars, moons, planets and even galaxies can be easily viewed through these powerful binoculars, making them the ultimate astronomy tool. Thanks to the improved design features, including rubber armour and manageable portability, the binoculars are also suitable for use in general observation activities which occur out in the field. Included are various forms of long distance wildlife watching where distance may need to be maintained in order not to scare a viewing subject off. Equally, they also serve purpose in more professional or tactical observation activities, such as covert or even military applications where concealment or maintaining distance is fundamental to an operation. Aircraft spotting and observation is also a very popular pursuit for which these binoculars are ideal. Finally, these binoculars have also found uses in the varied world of sports where the benefits of a binocular form outweigh those of a less versatile and portable spotting scope. Review: Not recomended for quick look at something, you need a little time. - Only problem is the lens caps at large end being a single unit if used you need to adjust angle for your personal eye width every time if you use them. Apart from that these bins are beyond belief. Only puchased recently so not had much chance to use for astrononical use due to cloud cover BUT have managed to see some objects in night sky and very very impressed. Have also used them to watch some bird activity and again very impressed. Hand holding NOT recomended due to weight plus even at lowest mag 30x hand shake is unavoidable, A good sturdy tripod is essential...these are very high powered bins so using tripod is only to be expected. They seem to be sturdy and well made.
Review: Do not buy, you will have to return - It's a great disappointment, I thought if something was made in Japan it would be of quality item but I was wrong. I have been using binoculars for many years. I have a celestron sky master 25x100, very heavy and good for star gazing. I later bought Pentax 20x60 and used it for watching aeroplanes and terrestrial view. Pentax is really good, much clear view, no tints and large for. I wanted a more powerful binoculars and came across this one which said" world most powerful binocular" etc, what a lie It's same weight as my Pentax but it's very low quality. The 1st thing I noticed was the fov was not bigger than a pound coin, very small and you struggle to find anything with it. 2nd I noticed was yellowish tint in the view 3rd it's definitely not 30x as it was same as 20x60 Pentax but with a small area not bigger than a coin and not clear as Pentax. Those who left positive feedback are probably people with their 1st binoculars and don't know about good binoculars. I returned it after having it 30 minutes, thanks to desertcart return policy.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: weight of binoculars**
A: hello Jeffery,Yes the weight very heavy,Very important you must try before you buy,The you tube video with the gentle man watching and following birds in flight,ABSOLUTELY NO WAY,These binoculars are way too powerfull,You cannot hold them still enough,go on wex photography webb site in the end I bought a telescope with a 80 mill end lense and magnification off 20 up to 60,absolutely brilliant it came with a free tripod, and only just over half the new price of the sunagor bins. bob

**Q: Are these really the worlds most powerful binoculars?? I heard they can go over 3 miles. Is it to good to be true?**
A: pokey 16,these bins don't bother much to much power and heavy, unless you use with a tripod, you will not be able to hold them still enough without tripod, get yourself a spotting scope celestron ultima 80 also with a tripod but much better, and you can hold it free hand,i use mine for spotting ships at sea, looking at stars and moon, birds on the beach birds in the trees very good and miles cheaper than the bins.

**Q: AT 1000 MTS HOW MANY FT IS THE RANGE**
A: 3900 ft = 1000mts

**Q: Hello i bought.my bino several months ago. Ther now appears to be a problem.!. I cant seem to focus both lens at the same time .**
A: You should never have bought them, they are far too powerfull for hand held use,Have you tried setting the right eye lense first, close your left eye and turn the right lense in or out to suit your right eye when you get the best infocus picture note the setting right eye only, then you cane use the centre focus wheel and both lenses should be in tune. I purchased a pair of these bins,i returned them within a week, got my money back and purchased sunagor telescope 60x80,thats 60 times mag by 80mm end lense they are perfect I even got a free tripod with them and they were £100 cheaper. bob n

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ EXCELLENT PRODUCT!
*by P***D on 18 February 2022*

This item more than meets my expectations and I still have not used it to capacity. It is not lightweight (which is why I gave that section 3 stars) but that is good..because with binoculars the weight shows it's worth! I finally have a pair of strong powerful binoculars that more than meets my needs. Thank You!
