Hope this helps. **Q: Can this be sprayed directly over rust?** A: Not if you want it to look good. This is a thin top coat paint that requires surface to properly prepared. Suggest rub down rust until gone, smooth off and use anti rust prep, spray grey primer, allow time to dry, spray this product in Very light coats allowing time to dry between coats or it will run. **Q: Is 400ml enough to paint a single, up and over garage door already painted white ??** A: It would be very thin coat, may be a bit patchy. I have done a large radiator with that size of can. **Q: enamamel paint can be water or oil based which is this** A: Oil Based...but don't buy goes yellow almost immediately. ## Frequently Bought Together - Hammerite Radiator Paint.
