I absolutely LOVE these heels! They are the perfect nude color and have the ideal chunky block heel, which makes them much more comfortable to walk in than a traditional stiletto. 1. True to the other reviews, the heel really takes a lot of the weight of the shoe, and you can feel it a little when you're walking or lift your foot for any reason, but it's not that bad. It's like having a chunky boot on and, to be honest, it worked in my favor the beach wedding I needed these for. 2. There's not padding, but they didn't hurt my feet surprisingly and I danced the night away! I genuinely did not stop dancing and these babies held up. Nothing came undone, they weren't slippery or stabbed into my foot. They also didn't hurt the bottom of my foot at all (I was wearing fleece lined stockings which might have helped). Honestly, these are really cute and sturdy for the price. You can probably elevate them with some sticky insoles or something to that effect, but I really like these. If you're hesitant, make the purchase! I can't wait to wear these in the spring/summer - they're gonna be hot!
