This ergonomic carrier is recognized by the International Hip Dysplasia Institute for providing optimal hip support. Compact and easy to use, it allows quick front carry with adjustable straps and a convenient quick-release front panel, perfect for keeping your baby close and comfortable during early months. ## Description Baby Carrier Mini is a small, easy-to-use baby carrier that you can quickly put on for short babywearing sessions. It's perfect for the early months when, like all newborns, your baby needs lots of closeness around the clock. You can easily unfasten the entire front section of the baby carrier to lift out your sleeping baby. The soft fabrics gently hug your baby's back, legs and hips and provide good support. The flexible fabric of the baby carrier allows you to see and feel your newborn's position and the natural C-curve of their back. ## Features - Baby Carrier Mini is available in four super-soft materials: 3D jersey, 3D mesh, and a soft and lustrous woven blend, all developed to enhance the closeness between you and your baby. - Baby Carrier Mini is small, soft and simple to use. It’s designed to meet a very young baby’s great need for closeness. - Baby Carrier Mini is suitable until your child is one year old or until they reach a weight of 24 lbs (11 kg) and/or a height of 29.5 in (75 cm). If you’re looking for a baby carrier with more back support that you can use for longer, we recommend Baby Carrier Harmony. - The International Hip Dysplasia Institute acknowledges Baby Carrier Mini, just like all BabyBjörn baby carriers, as a hip-healthy product. This means that the baby carrier provides the proper support for your baby’s hips. - Carry on your front either facing in or facing out ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0BTFQMX7H | | Age Range Description | Newborn | | Best Sellers Rank | #2,107 in Baby ( See Top 100 in Baby ) #17 in Baby & Toddler Carriers | | Brand | BabyBjörn | | Care Instructions | Machine Wash | | Closure Type | Buckle | | Color | Off White | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 1,384 Reviews | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00810047571018 | | Item Dimensions D x W x H | 19"D x 11"W x 12"H | | Manufacturer | BabyBjörn | | Material | Cotton Blend | | Material Type | Cotton Blend | | Maximum Weight Recommendation | 24 pounds | | Minimum Weight Recommendation | 7 pounds | | Number of Items | 1 | | Orientation | Front | | Part Number | 021087US | | Product Care Instructions | Machine Wash | | Strap Type | Adjustable Strap | | UPC | 810047571018 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** BabyBjörn - **Color:** Off White - **Material:** Cotton Blend - **Product Care Instructions:** Machine Wash - **Strap Type:** Adjustable Strap ## Images ![Baby Carrier Mini, Light Beige, 3D Jersey | Newborn Carrier, Ergonomic, Easy-to-Use - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71olMh4bLsL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color, Style** options. ## Frequently Bought Together - BabyBjörn Baby Carrier Mini, 3D Jersey, Light Beige - BabyBjörn Bouncer Bliss, Sand Gray, Woven, Classic Quilt | 2-in-1 Adjustable Baby Bouncer Seat and Toddler Chair, Newborn to Toddler (8-29 lbs), 4 Positions, Lightweight & Portable - Hatch Rest Baby Sound Machine, Night Light | 2nd Gen | Registry Essential, Sleep Trainer, Routine Builder, Time-to-Rise Alarm Clock, White Noise Soother, Nursery Stories, Toddler Kids Bedroom (Wi-Fi) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/511342414-baby-carrier-mini-light-beige-3d-jersey-newborn-carrier-ergonomic](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/511342414-baby-carrier-mini-light-beige-3d-jersey-newborn-carrier-ergonomic) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-10-12*
