    Did the job asked of them

These seemed quite tight in the width at the start - I'm an 11 but ordered size 12 to be safe. I used them for a trip where they had to be worn almost every day. That's no way to treat a shoe.The inner half-soles detached themselves at some point but they can be glued back on, I suppose. One of the laces doesn't look too happy. Like all these shoes, they have poor traction on slippery surfaces.They were just over £30 when ordered, and were good value for money given the abuse they received. They were quite comfortable and I averaged five miles per day in them for four weeks. I'd hesitate to spend much more on them, though.

Like the style, however the shoelaces were not fit for purpose being too short and square section thick leather strips without aglets (metal tips) Rather than go in for an exchange, I swapped the laces for proper boot laces - result!

I have always loved the Timberland boat shoes but getting the shoes in your size isn’t always easy to find and they can be extremely expensive.These shoes look and feel the same as the Timberland originals. They are smart and stylish and are extremely comfortable. A wide range of colours and sizes are available and above all, they are very keenly priced.I would have no hesitation in recommending these shoes as a ‘buy’.
