I have tried many slippers and they always feel too hot and uncomfortable after a few wearings. Flip flops just feel better. These are much superior to the flip-flops we boomers wore as children, but they are just as comfy. Based on what shoes go for, these are inexpensive, so I'm happy. I expect them to hold up pretty well so long as I steer clear of pop-tops.
