Paired perfectly first time. Operates perfectly. Range checked OK. I fly with a Spektrum DX6i and usually just buy BNF airplanes from Horizon Hobby brands, but the Tidewater was going to be a better option for a seaplane for me than any of the Horizon offerings at the time.So I removed the Tactic receiver from the Tidewater and put the AR400 in place. I got it bound to the transmitter easily, and it was smaller than the normal receiver so it easily fit inside the plane. I like that it's got a nice long antenna on it, it makes it easy to make sure that you've got the antenna where you need it even if you've only got a limited space to mount the actual receiver.I range tested the receiver and it tested out just fine. All of the functions work as they should. I haven't had a chance to fly the plane yet (-19 degrees where I live means no lakes to fly off of right now) but I have no reason to believe it won't work perfectly after doing the range checks.It's a great option for a plane that doesn't need a lot of channels.
