They run large. I ordered 5-6 when I usually wear 6-7. This smaller size fits PERFECTLY. The color is lovely as is the shoe design. It has a good arch support as well. I have been a Dearfoam user for many many years. The Laura Ashley have more fit to them and the back is clearly cut out...unlike the others that have a carved out bed for your heel. (This usually ends up crushed down and no longer feels or works like a shell for your heel.) The Laura Ashley ones are more like the classic slipper should be. I have a long and somewhat narrow foot (size 10-10.5), and where most scuff slippers flop around on my feet, these don’t. They have more than enough length (why I gave them 4 stars—the XL is a tad too long, and I think I could have gone down to a L). The width isn’t snug, but not too bad on a narrower foot. These would be fine for someone who wears a medium width, but may not work for wide feet. The arch support is just barely noticeable, but enough to give me some stability when walking.
