I Just Paid a Lot Less for Better Decaf Coffee!!! *by L***L on January 4, 2026* I was buying decaf coffee beans from a high-end coffee roaster here in San Diego. Despite a premium price of nearly $20 for a 10oz bag, I was very disappointed with the results. So, I decided to give Eight O'clock Decaf a try. Using a good quality grinder and a French press, this made coffee almost indistinguishable from regular caffeinated coffee. I usually mix decaf and regular coffee together to make a "half-caf" blend, but using100% decaf is still excellent. I find that making it a little stronger than I would make it with regular caffeinated coffee works for me but that's a matter of individual taste, of course.
