They are ideal as an emergency option to hypothermia or comforting casualties in shock. The mylar construction reflects over 90% of the wearer's body heat. The blankets are folded compactly (10cm x 6cm) individually wrapped in sealable pouches and unfold easily to their full size (210cm x 130cm). The multi-purpose blankets are not limited to first aid uses, they can also be used for anything from sporting events to outdoor concerts and gigs. The pack of blankets are supplied in a box for ease of storage. Box Contains 6 x HypaGuard Foil Blankets Review: A must have for car and home - I keep a pack of these in the car and they take up almost no space. They come sealed, fold flat and slip easily into the glove box. The foil is sturdier than it looks and reflects heat well, which is exactly what you want if you break down on a cold night or need to keep someone warm while waiting for help. They’re also handy to have at home. In a power cut you can wrap one around your shoulders and it genuinely takes the edge off the cold. You get six in the pack so you’re covered for more than one person and you still have spares left over. For the size, price and practicality they’re hard to fault. If anything, I’m tempted to pick up another pack so I can stash a few around the house just in case. Review: Saved my fathers life. - Bought these to add to my car's first aid kit, mostly on a whim. While on holiday in Scotland, my 75 year old father capsized his boat and couldn’t right it. He was wearing a life jacket, so he wouldn’t drown, but he was hit hard with hypothermia. We scrambled another boat, but he was in the water for a good 15 minutes. The other boat brought him to shore, he was blue, and we had at least a 30 minute wait for the ambulance to arrive. We wrapped him in these, along with warm bottles of water, while rubbing his feet and hands. These probably saved his life. If not for that whim, I wouldn't have a father right now. Just buy them. ## Features - Insulating mylar blanket - Ideal for casualties in shock or suffering from hypothermia - Reflects 90% of radiated body heat - Individually wrapped in sealable packets - Folded size: 10cm x 6cm, Unfolded size: 210cm x 130cm ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B001FIQ7XU | | Age Range Description | All ages | | Best Sellers Rank | 2,208 in Health & Personal Care ( See Top 100 in Health & Personal Care ) 1 in First Aid Blankets 6 in First Aid Kits (Health & Personal Care) 47 in Plasters & Dressing Supplies | | Blanket Form | Emergency Blanket | | Brand | Safety First Aid Group | | Brand Name | Safety First Aid Group | | Colour | Silver | | Country Of Origin | China | | Customer Reviews | 4.7 out of 5 stars 1,057 Reviews | | Fabric Type | Mylar, Foil | | Fabric Warmth Description | Reflects over 90% of body heat to provide superior insulation and warmth | | Global Trade Identification Number | 05037331001319 | | Included Components | Foil Blankets | | Item Dimensions L x W | 2.1L x 1.3W metres | | Item Type Name | Foil Blankets | | Manufacturer | Safety First Aid Group | | Manufacturer Part Number | Q2023T | | Manufacturer Warranty Description | 1 Year Manufacturer | | Material | Mylar, foil blanket | | Material Type | Mylar, foil blanket | | Model Name | HypaGuard Foil Survival Blanket (Pack of 6) | | Model Number | Q2023T | | Number of Items | 6 | | Number of Packs | 6 | | Pattern | Solid | | Product Care Instructions | Machine Wash | | Recommended Uses For Product | Camping, First Aid for shock, hypothermia, Hiking | | Seasons | Winter | | Size | 1 Count (Pack of 6) | | Sleeping Bag Filling Material | Mylar | | Special Features | Individually wrapped, Lightweight | | Special feature | Individually wrapped, Lightweight | | Sport Type | Camping | | Style | Foil Blanket | | Style Name | Foil Blanket | | Theme | Solid | | Unit Count | 6.0 count | | Water Resistance Level | Water Resistant | | Weave Type | Plain | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Safety First Aid Group - **Colour:** Silver - **Material:** Mylar, foil blanket - **Special feature:** Individually wrapped, Lightweight - **Style:** Foil Blanket ## Images ![Safety First Aid HypaGuard Pack of 6 Foil Survival Blankets - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71lA4e6rBmL.jpg) ![Safety First Aid HypaGuard Pack of 6 Foil Survival Blankets - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/615uIY7vyyL.jpg) ![Safety First Aid HypaGuard Pack of 6 Foil Survival Blankets - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81uR8QCQk4L.jpg) ![Safety First Aid HypaGuard Pack of 6 Foil Survival Blankets - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71vHEvyyWkL.jpg) ![Safety First Aid HypaGuard Pack of 6 Foil Survival Blankets - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81khODczsEL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Configuration, Size** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A must have for car and home *by I***S on 27 November 2025* I keep a pack of these in the car and they take up almost no space.
