I was surprised when I found out it was a hardcover, because I was expecting a paperback cover journal. It has everything that i need to do my notary duties. The only request I have is that I wish the privacy screen was bigger. It's not long enough to cover the entire page so when you get to the very bottom of the page the other information is being shown at the top. I have a privacy screen from my other journal so it's not a big deal for me but I wanted to let those purchasing this journal as their 1st to know. I would purchase it again even though it was a little more than others, it's worth the price. Review: Great hardcover book - Great book for my notary services. I love the hardcover. It’s my first time purchasing this and I will buy again. It’s easy to use and straightforward. The privacy cover is pointless to be honest, it’s annoying to hold and doesn’t stay in Place ## Features - High-Quality Hardcover: Executive style hardcover made of a high-quality, scruff-resistant material to protect important records. - Smyth-Sewn Binding: Constructed with Smyth-sewn binding to withstand repeated use and prevent pages from falling out over time. - Built-in Bookmark: Features a built-in ribbon bookmark to easily pick up where you left off. - Premium Paper Quality: Features high-quality, smooth finish pages, perfect for preventing show-through and keeping each signer's information private. - Tamper-Evident Pages: Includes 122 numbered pages with room for 488 total entry fields.
