The Calamondin or Calamansi is a stunning 75 cm tall citrus plant, perfect for brightening up your home. ## Description

Grow your own citrus fruit at home. The Calamondin is a cross between a mandarin orange and a Chinese kumquat. The tree can grow very tall on the plantations in the Philippines. But in your home it never grows bigger than a pot plant. The plant is an evergreen. The white flowers produce fruit that you can eat. Care recommendation In the winter you should keep the plant inside, but you can put it outside in the summer (from mid-May onward). Then water it regularly and make sure it doesn't dry out. In the growing season, the plant needs water-soluble nourishment, while it only needs half of that amount in the winter. Feed it once every five weeks. You can prune dead or damaged branches whenever you wish.

**Q: Where can i get the spray for the winter and the summer one to spray on i am gona keep it indoor thanks**
A: It's called SB plant invigorator I order mine through Amazon £14 I recently ordered one for a friend. A bottle will last you for months. My plant is also kept indoors

**Q: Is this the same as Calamansi?**
A: Yes the Calamondin is also know a the Calamansi.

**Q: Can I buy this plant now but leave off delivery until closer to Xmas (as a present for a friend)?**
A: Thank you for your enquiry. Yes this is ok, Amazon will contact you stating that the delivery is late but we are happy to hold this for you if you wish.

**Q: Can these be left in a sunny area inside the house constantly? I don't have a garden :(  thank you!**
A: yes they can be. mine are in the conservatory which can be hot and sunny. just make sure you keep them watered and I feed them with citrus focus liquid.pick the fruit off regularly too.

Nice healthy looking plant with a handful of oranges. I'm very pleased with it. Here's a picture of it on the day it arrived. If I'm allowed to, I'll try and post a second pic towards the end of the Summer but overall, a really nice plant indeed.

The tree was well packed and came in good condition only two oranges were shaken off, so loads still on the plant . Tree looks healthy, so if I follow the instructions the tree should flourish and give a talking point in the conservative with the bonus of being able too freeze fruit to flavour and chill our gin .
