**Q: What mechanism prevents the capsule from dissolving in stomach acid before delivering contents to the intestines?**
A: It's not the capsule which is important,as far as I know it's the fact that the butyric acid is linked to glycerol as a triglyceride of sorts,3 molecules of butyric acid attached to one of glycerol,so it takes longer to absorb it I guess.

**Q: Does this product need to be refrigerated after opening?**
A: It says to store in a cool dry place.  I'm assuming if it needed refrigeration then it would have specifically indicated so.

**Q: Is this a delayed release capsule?**
A: No I don't think so

**Q: Are the capsules Bovine Derived?**
A: The bottle says it’s a vegan capsule.
